Blue Foot Essentials began in 2018 as Rain and Shine Cleaning Company, created as an answer to a simple but meaningful question: how can we provide dependable service to people who need help caring for their homes, families, and everyday spaces?

Before starting the company, Ingrid Faehn began her career as a bilingual customer service representative, helping people solve problems related to automobile loans, leases, and mortgage insurance coverage. Through both inbound and outbound calls on behalf of financing companies, she was able to support customers in important moments. However, Ingrid’s desire was to do even more—to create a positive impact in people’s lives and in the lives of their families.

That desire led her to take her passion for cleaning to a new level by starting a residential cleaning service. From humble beginnings, Ingrid personally marketed the business and performed the hands-on work needed to provide customers with exceptional service. As the business quickly grew, employees were hired and trained in a cleaning style focused on detail, safety, and consistent results.

With that same commitment to cleaning excellence, the commercial side of the business began to grow as well. People not only wanted clean homes—they also wanted clean, healthy, and organized work environments.

Today, our business is proudly inspired by the clean habits and family-centered nature of the Blue-Footed Booby, a remarkable bird found in the Galápagos Islands. This bird is known for caring for itself, protecting its family, eating well, and living with balance. In the same spirit, Blue Foot Essentials believes that a clean environment supports a healthier and more comfortable life.

We follow that philosophy by using carefully selected, all-natural cleaning products in our daily services. Our goal is to give customers excellent results while helping maintain a safe, fresh, and pleasant home or work environment.

As our company continues to grow, we are also expanding into online cleaning supply sales so more people can benefit from safe, natural products that clean well, smell wonderful, and support a healthier space.

In addition, Ingrid has expanded her service to the community by becoming a licensed Real Estate Agent serving the Midwest area. Through ethical real estate guidance and professional support, she continues helping new and existing clients find their dream homes and make the process as smooth as possible.
